The moment I walked into Trial's Pub, I knew that this was the place to hang out on Monday's, have a pint of Guiness and enjoy fish'n chips.

They've got trivia on Monday.

You can substitute your chips for mashe'd p's (potatoes).

They have poutine (canadian chips with gravy and cheese).

The place is far from pretentious.

The prices for meals are close to under $10.

If you say goodbye, the staff will say goodbye.

The service is friendly.

They've got comfort food.

Super Cheap Tacos at a Bar in Downtown San Jose

The Blue Monkey won't make your pocket feel blue. At a $1.50 per taco and three tacos making me full, it's a great deal!

The lounge upstairs has pimpin' leather couches and is designed like a total pimped out bachelor pad.

Food to Thai You Down

The New Krung Thai Restaurant has great chicken Satay, and Pad Thai. The Thai iced tea uses shaved ice, so if you let it melt, it's kinda like a shake.

The food portions are huge. I didn't have room for dessert.

The ambience is low light with candle light. It's a great place to go out on a date, and then afterwards head over to Santana Row for drinks.

I'm going to go again.

Fast, Friendly, AND Service at the Sonoma Chicken Coop

I went to downtown San Jose yesterday to drop my pal, Dersh, at the San Jose Museum of Art.

Dersh thought the salad she ordered was great. It even had an orchid on it, and I had the lemoned chicken. It was deelish.

The server asked me how I was which was pretty professional. We got our food pretty quickly during a lunch hour.
